I will preface this to say that this is strictly my opinion, although, I also believe (as one radio personality used to say) it ought to be yours.

During my 2 years riding, I have had some fabulous falls (as well as some spectacular saves). I have been told that if you ride consistently on the trail without falling, you aren’t riding hard enough. When I travel for work, particularly to the corporate headquarters in Ohio, my bike is my lifeline to home and sanity. It isn’t fun having to drive long distances but the advantage of bringing my bike makes it worth it.

I have been in Atlanta for work for several days, some really great things happened but some really junkie things happened too. I had hoped to hit a trail on the way down, but I was late and it was raining by the time I got there, so I missed it.

But was committed to getting out on the way home no matter what. Athough the unpleasant stuff in Atlanta happened late yesterday, I struggled with my motivation to get out and ride, kind of preferring to sulk the whole 4+ hour trip ...

Whenever possible, I like to be first - so I'm going to be the first one to blog on the new board. I am certain that I will have some completely brilliant things to say in the future, but not today.
